OOC: Won't be too, too long. =3

Up, down, up down Brittany posted to her ponies familiar smooth trot. Head craned down with a running martingale he moved perfectly. Neck arched tightly, hind legs falling in the footsteps of his fronts. Brittany had a firm grip on the reins, hard contact on her mouth. Softening the inside rein naturally, his mouth wasn't graping open like usual. She was riding like she was in a show, so no one noticed she took out her anger and frustration on her pony. No one knew she was crying for help. She sat deep, moving into a sitting trot. Her tan full seat breeches fit her perfectly, showing her petite frame. Tall black leather boots where polished and shining, spurs bouncing off the end of her heel. Heels pinned down to the ground, keeping her leg on her slender ponies belly. She brought her outside leg behind the girth, squeezing her legs. The dapple pony knew the command, he sprung into a canter. He moved forward, Brittany recently had changed his bit into a snaffle since the judges seemed to place the horses in a loose ring snaffle higher. She never figured out why. His baby blue open front jumping boots protected his legs, she dressed him in a matching saddle pad. He threw his head, spooking at a bird. She ripped him in a tight circle, he threw his head up. Straining against the martingale, graping his mouth open with the pressure she recently had placed on her delicate mouth. She growled in frustration, digging her spurs in until he dropped his head again. She cantered down the long side, doing a couple figure of eight's until his flying changes where flawless. She hardly took him on the trails; she was constantly training harder and harder. She almost passed out sometimes, it could of been from the fact she was working so hard and she hardly ate.

Leg pressed against his side, pushing him forward as they cantered toward the low set grid. It was set at 2'3, perfect height for warm up. Heel's low to the ground, leg staying in perfect position. She tapped him with the crop she held. He sprung forward, barreling toward the jumps. She hauled on his mouth, he threw his head off in frustration. He was trying to please her so hard, but she kept sending mixed signals. She brought him into a tight circle again. Then pointed him toward the jumps, softening up on his mouth he did all the work for her. They flew over the low grid perfectly. He always got the perfect distances, he never stopped. Knee's snapping up tightly over every fence. He sped up after the first fence, getting bored of the constant ring work. "Oliver. Easy!" She told the pony in a growl as he sped up a bit, he slowed into an easy canter. She had perfect equitation over every fence, she stared down at the oxer ahead. Oliver noticed her hesitation and took off long, taking the long spot. Brittany wasn't expecting this action and caught him in the mouth. Pain searing through the poor pony, he bucked at the end. Not appreciating the grip on his mouth. Brittany squealed, pulling on him harshly and dragging him into another circle. She went through the grid several times non stop. Pushing him forward as hard she she could. Oliver couldn't go more, he needed to stop. She drove him harder and harder, finally his knee's buckled and he slid to a stop in front of the jump. Brittany lost both of her stirrups, falling onto his neck. Sliding to the ground. Tears of frustration sliding down her cheeks, she smacked the pony in the chest with the crop, causing him to do a half rear. She stormed out of the ring, throwing her helmet and crop the ground. She sat under a tree, head on her knees. Leaving her poor out of breath pony standing there, drenched in a sweat.
He tried so hard to please the beautiful girl.

» Daddy, tell me what to say and what to do. Tell me my answers are right and help me through this weakness. Help me help her. Help me help myself. A silent prayer to the worldto her farther as she rocked forward and back, bouncing just a little in the saddle as Ellise moved underneath her, all four feet gliding over the terrain in a happy gait. He had been in his stall too long. Jennel had been in her room too long. One hand loosely gripping the reins, she let him take her where he wished and let her mind wander. She wasn't much of a dreamer anymore, most of the time her spacing out was just that. Nothing to think about, just empty thoughts that left her so she wouldn't have to think. Yet, today it was harder to loose concentration and she let her hands fall slightly, just barely keeping a hold of the reins so Ellise still knew she was with him in body, in mind, probably not. Taking a deep breath, she pulled back just a little, sending him into a slower walk accompanied by a snort. "Ellise..", she reprimanded but the horse remained silent. He always remained silent. But, her voice was soft and even if you were close, you wouldn't hear her. You would see her though. It had been a long time since she had actually changed into full gear, yet it was minimal.

» She sat upon Ellise, the chestnut prince, dressed in nothing but a double bridle and the dressage saddle her father had used, underneath was the white saddlepad with ES inscribed upon it in green letters. Jennel was dressed accordingly, her upper half covered by a dark blue underarmor shirt and her bottom half clad in white breeches, with boots gleaming in the dull winter sun. Her shoulder length hair pulled back in a messy bun while her gloved hands kept themselves busy. Sighing, she swung her head around and pulled back. Ellise followed orders like a true gentlemen and stopped. She watched in surprise. What was Brittany thinking? Yes, Jennel was as cold as the melting snow around her, but she still knew that the poor creature didn't deserve that. But she kept her mouth shut and watched the whole performance all the way until her cousin stormed out of the arena and toward a stree leaving poor Oliver fending for himself. "Alright, Oliver", she sighed, rising up off her saddle and jumping down onto the ground. The moist gravel making a satisfying crunch under her heals. With a saddened look gracing her pretty face, she tied Ellise to the fence and walked in to retrieve Oliver. Carefully, she looked at him. He looked horrible but nothing a little rest wouldn't help. Picking up on his reins, she walked him back to where Ellise was standing.

» Then, with a horse in each hand, she started off to the tree line. Her heels making noises along with the horses hooves behind her. She had been around horses a great deal yet she was always surprised how they tried so hard. It was a warm day. A good day. Trying to find a smile, she slowly came to a halt a meter away from her cousin and stood there for a moment, looking at her curiously yet her eyes were sheilded. "You left someone behind you know..", she said, keeping each gloved hand around the reins of each horse and somehow keeping a straight face when Ellise put his nose near her neck, his warm breath tickling her. He was still a bloody fool. But he was her bloody fool. She could never dream, even with her new zombie outfit, of treating him like what she had just seen yet, who was she to judge? Brittany had lost both parents, she had only lost one. And everyone knew she depended on them for everything and now that they were gone, they left her spoiled little ass here with her and her mother. Always could use the help around the stables her mother had said. Yet, Brittany never helped. She just practiced being a bitch all day.

The grey pony was soaked in a sweat, ears pricked forward as Jannel approached. Brown eyes watching her, he fallowed her willingly. Slowly, all his muscles ached from the hard work. Head low in defeat, eyes dull. He was broken and trained so well, mouth throbbing from the harsh pulling. Thank god she had changed her bit from the Pelham he had been in. His strides where long as he fallowed behind him. Nickering softly to Ellise, he threw up his head slightly than continued on. He stiffened as they approached Brittany, ears forward sensing her unhappiness. He nickered at his owner lovingly, stepped toward her nervously. Oliver was a 60 thousand dollar pony, he stood at 14.1 he was perfect for the large pony divisions. His long even strides as he went around the course in a perfect rhyme. Distances perfect every time, he gave everyone his best. His flying changes where automatic, you never had to ask! He was the perfect pony, his grey coat covered in a thick sweat, nostrils flared slightly showing the pink inside. His sides heaved with the effort he had just given. Cold air he breathed in stinging his lungs, he snorted occasionally. Stretching out his neck to gently nudge Brittany, her head swished at him. He threw up his head and took a step back, unsure of why she was doing so.

Brittany's long blond hair was flipped up in her helmet. Her head resting on her knee's. Her expensive full seats covering her frame easily. She could see her breath puffing out when she breathed. She wore a dark blue hoodie and her expensive tailored velvet covered riding helmet. She looked up, crossing her arms over her chest. Mascara had run down her cheeks slightly, she leaned back against the tree. Her cousin stood before her, ice blue eyes glaring at her coldly. She didn't understand her either, she was holding that damn pony of hers. She glared at them all, her cousin and her perfect dressage horse. Still sitting she looked up at her, she spoke to her so coldly. But cold was the only language Jennel spoke since her father died. Emotionless young girl, so empty. Hands covered in her warm black riding gloves she didn't bother standing at her presence. She laughed coldly, left him behind? He didn't deserve to come with her. She wanted to leave him in the cold. Let him colic and die, that would give her an excuse to be depressed and no to eat. Eyes wandering over her flat, ribby stomach. No one knew she didn't eat, whenever someone was around she'd make effort to devour half a sandwich. Than she'd feel ill after, eating just made her sick. She was diagnosed with anorexia shortly before her parents death. She was 13, and thought she was fat. So simply she stopped eating. Her parents past away 6 months ago, leaving her alone with her 60 thousand dollar pony. She lived with her cousin, and her aunt now. Her cousin who was emotionless since her fathers death. Living her mothers dream.

She stood up, snatching the reins from Jannel's hand. "Well, not really. He could just stay out here- he doesn't deserve to come into the barn. Bloody pony refused!"she exclaimed with rage. She threw the reins back over his head. Gripping them fustratedly, Oliver side stepped nervously. Eyes rolling back in his head, he was terrified when she got angry. She swung onto him, glaring at Jannel. "He's just fine, thank you very much."She stood there, not too sure what to do next. With that she turned back toward the arena at a trot, Oliver's strides where unwilling and tired but she pushed him. Spurs digging into his sides. He pinned his ears and swished his tail. She never knew when to stop.

Brittany really wasn't a bad girl. behind the mask that covered her face was a sweet girl. She hid and never had shown who she really was. Slowly, she had transformed into a spoiled rotten bitch with no friends. But behind that mask was a young girl who was crying for help. She didn't know how to tell anyone she had an eating disorder, and she didn't want anyone to know. She sat in her thousand dollar jumping saddle, with perfect equitation as she pushed him into a trot around the ring.

She needed help, she needed to stop. She just didn't know how to tell anyone that she had an eating disorder.

» What do you do when the sky falls down at the ground opens up underneath you? What do you do when the rain keeps on falling and everyone you know has drowned? What do you do when your best friend dies, your father is crushed to death and your brother is left in a wheelchair for the rest of his life and you know it was your fault. If you hadn't been driving to that contest, if you hadn't had your best friend in the back. If he hadn't been impaled on the twisted and broken metal. What do you do when all this is done and you see something wrong yet you can't seem to find the words to say no. The strength to grab ahold of someone and shake them till their bones rattle? What do you do? Jennel really had no clue, standing there trying to find the answers that weren't even there to start with. She hadn't expected what came out of her cousin's mouth, yet it did and she didn't retort. She even loosened her grip on the reins when she yanked Oliver out of her grip. She never said a word as the clearly tired aching pony was forced away. She didn't fight anymore, just accepted the way it was yet seeing Brittany fall off that cliff and take her pony with her made her sick.

» Taking a deep breath and letting it out of her nose, she decided to go on pursuit to Ellise's pleasure. With a leap and a hop, she was on his back again, seated in her father's saddle and eating up distance between Oliver and herself until she passed him up and slowed down a little. "What the hell do you think you are doing Brittany? Can't you see what you are doing to him?", she snapped, yet it was still frozen. And than, she did something she probably wouldn't have done any other time. She slid to a halt and glared at her cousin. "Brittany, you no good bitch! Your gonna kill him!", she screamed, the first bit of emotion she had felt in over a year resinating in her tone. She secretly hoped that was enough to get her cousin to turn around and confront her. She knew she had a vicious temper.

» Yet she was surprised at how easy Ellise had caught on and stood tall and straight, his ears forward and alert as his nostrils and sides flared slightly, just enough to get his heart going. "Good boy," she whispered, loosening her grip on his reins and letting his head flip upward so she could scratch him inbetween the eyes. He tried so hard and was the last present her father had ever gotten her. He was her replacement Mooch but he was also more than that. He was her only friend that stuck with her after the accident. She was so lucky she hadn't decided to put him and mooch in the same trailor. She thanked destiny or fate or whatever crazy angel or god that was watching over her. Taking a deep breath, she waited, sitting firm a top him, her blue eyes watched Brittany like a tracker yet they were still veiled. Emotion may have been in her tone yet it had failed to warm her face. Daddy, what makes the horses run so fast? They run so fast because they try to keep up with the wind. They're mother and the lightning their father. Why do they love so much and try to hard? Well, Honey, you an only answer that question for yourself.

Brittany sat tall and proud in her saddle, Oliver slowing no faster than a joke. She growls in frustration, spurs digging into him again. He cranes his head around, ears snapping back to his head. He allowed his hind legs to come off the ground slightly for the first time. Brittany immediately smacks him, he lunged forward with the last bits of effort at the trot. He was almost dragging his legs, she notice her cousin moving up beside her. She tried to ignore her, but she wasn't successful. She stood in front of her, her eyes glaring her down. She slowed him to a walk, than halted him. The horses noses only inches away from each other. Oliver's nostrils flared, breathing heavy. His whole body heaving with effort. She sat there, dropping the reins and crossing her arms. She glared back, ice cold eyes staring at her. As if trying to drill a hole through Jannel's head. Her words where cold, yet they didn't effect Brittany. She was so use to people calling her names and yelling at her. She had no friends, they all just looked at her and where all, "what are you doing to yourself!?". She sighed looking down at the heaving pony, no. She wouldn't kill him, she was just trying to get him back in shape, since he was out of shape.

"I won't kill him!" She squeaked, completely shocked that Jannel had emotion. "Lazy ass is just out of shape, that's all." She explained honestly, she would work him hard like this and soon they would be in top form for show season. She smirked contently, raising an eyebrow at her fuming cousin.

Oliver could sense the tension between them, he tried to throw his petite head up bought the martingale prevented him from doing so. He inched forward, closer to Ellise he felt safe when she couldn't harm him. With Jannel there she would protect him, Brittany checked him back. Making him reverse a couple steps. He snorted quietly, breathing hard still. He wanted this to end so he could go in his stall and eat.

OOC: eww shortness. Sorry sorry sorry *stabs hand* xD
